FAQ's

What ages do you cater to?

Wild wondering caters to all ages, with tailored activities to suit different developmental stages and needs.

What should my child bring?

Participants should come dressed in weather-appropriate clothing, which might include:

Waterproof jacket and trousers

Sturdy boots or shoes

Hat, gloves, or sun protection
We also recommend a small backpack with water.

What happens in bad weather?

Forest and Beach School runs in all weather conditions except for extreme situations like high winds or lightning storms. We use this as an opportunity to teach resilience and adaptability. In rare cases of unsafe conditions, parents and carers will be notified, and sessions may be rescheduled.

Is it safe for my child?

Yes! Safety is our top priority. All sessions are led by trained Forest School practitioners, and risk     assessments are conducted for every activity. We maintain a high staff-to-child ratio to ensure everyone’s well-being.

Does my child need prior outdoor experience?

Not at all! Forest and Beach School is inclusive and welcomes all children, regardless of their         previous experience.

Can parents join the sessions?

We encourage parents of children above six that do not have any additional needs to allow them the freedom to explore independently. However, some programmes may necessitate parent/carers to stay. Please check out the 'About Us' page for more information.
