This Forest School session offers home-educated children aged 5+ the opportunity to learn, explore and connect through nature-based, child-led experiences.
Set in our beautiful woodland environment, sessions run from 9.30am - 2.30pm and provide children with extended time to play, build confidence, develop social skills and deepen their relationship with the natural world. Activities may include fire lighting and campfire cooking, woodland crafts, tool use, shelter building, nature exploration, games and storytelling — all guided by the children’s interests and the changing seasons.
This is a drop-off programme, giving children the space to build independence while being supported by a qualified Teacher and Forest School leader in a safe, nurturing setting. Sessions are relaxed and inclusive, with a strong focus on curiosity, resilience and emotional wellbeing - foundations which support confidence, engagement and long-term academic growth alongside social and emotional development.
Children should come dressed for the weather (see FAQ'S), with appropriate clothing and a packed lunch.
